Day 5 from Plainfaing to Saint-Louis

What a day... Started the day by fueling up with breakfast. And then it was Vosges pure. Without warning, it went 4 km uphill with a climb of 400 meters in altitude. That's an average inclination of 10%!! And all without a break, no time to catch my breath. That would definitely be a category of highest mountain points in the Tour de France. The only motivation was knowing that after such a mountain, there would be a long downhill. Arriving at the top with 0% energy, I refueled again and then went downhill continuously for 20 km. One of the best descents in a long time!! Took some quick photos at the bottom of the valley and then it was relatively flat until the destination.

Tomorrow I finally have a break and the day trip to Basel.

Saint-Louis is a municipality in Haut-Rhin with nearly 20,000 inhabitants.
