Palouki Beach

Today, we are being lazy. After breakfast, we are reading a lot, in the afternoon, we are going to the beach and the sea. We are almost alone at the beach and the water is great! Very pleasant temperature and beautiful waves. I walk along the beach a bit and look at the canal that runs alongside the campsite and flows into the sea. It's full of algae and reeds, and there are hundreds of tadpoles swimming in it. When I get closer, lots of little frogs jump into the water in fright. These little creatures make a huge racket! We are parked on the other side of the campsite, not in line with the other motorhomes (right next to this canal), and that turned out to be lucky on the first night. The frog concert is incredibly loud, I couldn't sleep a wink...

In the evening, we get something to drink at the kiosk and sit in the harbor watching the hustle and bustle. It's amazing how many cars and motorcycles are driving back and forth, and at the snack bar, it's crowded again...
