Garda - Bisceglie

We leave early in Garda and the further we go to Southern Italy, the worse the roads become (including the highways and we pay a lot of tolls along the way!) and the more garbage there is by the roadside. Since it's still about 800 km to Bari, where the ferry to Patras leaves on Sunday, we want to drive to Pescara today (about 500 km). We drive right through Emilia-Romagna and in some parts you can still see what happened there shortly before. Dried mud lies on the edge of the road, the fields on the right and left are still very wet, there are still large puddles on some fields, someone is busy removing the mud with a small digger on one field, and the rails are lying on a railroad embankment. Since the drive is going well, there is little traffic, we decide to keep driving and finally end up in Bisceglie (about 40 km before Bari) at a nice campground right by the sea. Next to us is an enclosure with geese, goats, and a peacock. Has anyone ever heard how loud a peacock can be? And geese are like an alarm system... We just hope that the peacock also sleeps at night (which it does), but unfortunately, it's an early riser, it's active again at 5.15 am...
