Today we were able to have breakfast outside. However, the sky was cloudy and there was expected to be a rain area in the morning. So we set off early again, although today's stage was not particularly long. The rain area did pass through, but apparently not where we were driving. We only noticed it by the wet roads and the laundry-like air. Today's route took us through the eastern part of the Mecklenburg Lake District, which means we saw a lot of water. Particularly interesting were the houseboats that you can rent here to spend your holidays on and sail from lake to lake. Unfortunately, a large part of the route was on unpaved roads in occasionally catastrophic condition. This meant that after crossing the Central Uplands of Germany without having to push even once, we had to do it several times today because it is simply not possible to ride in deep sand. In addition, on such a bumpy route, my chain came off and got so tangled that it took us a while to untangle it. However, the rest of the ride to our destination Neustrelitz was unproblematic.
