After a peaceful night on the cliffs, we woke up to a wonderful view shortly after 8 a.m. We then made our way to the next town and had a coffee there and visited the tourist information (there is information material about the Wild Atlantic Way). We continued our drive on this road. The route takes you through small forests, tall mountains, steep cliffs, and tiny villages. We stopped in Glengarriff and took a small boat to Garnish Island. On the island, there are plants from all over the world (including Italy, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand). On the boat ride, we already spotted two seals sunbathing on the rocks. Later, we were able to observe more seals from the top of the island. After that, we continued our journey on the Wild Atlantic Way and started the Ring of Kerry. Today we are camping about halfway along the Ring of Kerry, right on the beach. The weather has worsened since this afternoon and it has been raining for a few hours.
Mileage: 2500 km
Insight of the day: The waves of the Atlantic invite you to go surfing.
