Hike above the gorge.

Today, after a good breakfast accompanied by loud bird songs (and no other noises), we embarked on a Komoot hike that took us along an impressive gorge. Above this gorge, we had a brief moment to see a pair of eagles circling, and luckily I had my binoculars with me this time. It was truly a wonderful sight. Unfortunately, we did not continue hiking around the gorge because we started too late and rain was forecasted for the late afternoon, so my hiking partner preferred to turn back. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful and memorable nature experience.

However, it did not rain later in the day, so we are enjoying the late afternoon sun as the only guests at the Artaza-Udeterra nature campsite.
