Strasbourg - Bregenz: We are back on Austrian soil!

14th - 17th July

In order not to waste too much time, we decided to drive from Strasbourg to Bregenz directly: through the Black Forest!

Everyone warned us that it would be really tiring, but somehow it wasn't so bad! Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, and then it's fine!

When we arrived at the top, it was an indescribable feeling: FINALLY we saw the Alps again! And Lake Constance! WOW! We could hardly believe it - and somehow time flew by until we reached Bregenz.

Just before crossing the border, we stopped again and took a deep breath.

And then we crossed over!! 'Now it's really happening! After 9 months of traveling and 6000km of cycling, we are finally back on Austrian soil!!!'

Such a wonderful feeling!

And there we treated ourselves to an extra day off in Bregenz, because it's so beautiful by Lake Constance!
