Bruceport - Astoria: We are in Oregon!

19th - 20th April

Washington was really beautiful, but unfortunately very rainy - now we are excited about Oregon!

The arrival in Astoria was really great. What a beautiful city - we extended our stay for another day because we felt so comfortable!

However, I (Pezi) am struggling with hay fever. I woke up at the campsite and couldn't even open my eyes - they were so swollen (actually my whole face was swollen)!!!

Well, we were also traveling pretty fast, especially on the first sunny days. Everything is blooming!

But somehow I'm still not quite sure if it's not also a bit due to the American food. After all, there are so many genetically modified things in it, I can imagine that my body is rebelling. Hm, I don't know.

I went to the pharmacy and got something just to be safe - I didn't take it because I believe that something like this will go away without pills - but you never know how long something like this will last, or if it will get worse. And, especially because we knew that we wouldn't have access to a pharmacy for a long time.

My eyes were definitely swollen for another 3 days, but I cooled them down diligently and washed them thoroughly, drank a lot of water, and I even put cucumbers on them ^^.
