Emirates Golf Club Dubai - Faldo Course

The DP WORLD Dubai Desert Classic tournament is played here every January. The world's best golfers compete, as seen on the Wall of Champions. Currently, grandstands are being set up for 2023.

There are 2 courses here, each with 18 holes. We played the Faldo Course, which goes around the perimeter of the facility. The inner course is the Majlis, which is prepared for the tournament. It's a very beautiful course with many sand bunkers and a great view of the skyline. Of course, it goes without saying that the course was in top condition.

On hole 14, a small fox-like animal came out of the bushes and walked across the fairway to the other side - it looked around a few times and then disappeared. We haven't figured out exactly what species it was - Desert Fox?

In the evening, we went to the Bushmann Restaurant again and had steaks that were so tender - simply sensational. Dominik had salmon, which was also beautifully presented and tasted great. A great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
