Since we currently have super internet (rare in Southeast Asia), we thought it's time for a blog post.
Yesterday we took a tuk-tuk to Wat Pho (or something like that - definitely a temple). The temple consists of many pyramid-like towers and houses with Buddhas inside (one is even very very big). In this heat, it's not so easy, especially because you have to take off and put on your shoes in front of every temple. After that, we went to the 'party mile'/'hipster street'/'tourist gathering point'. There was mega good street food, unless you're missing a few screws (=crazy) and eat fried scorpions. Unfortunately, the loud music on both sides of the street reminds more of a sound cannon (you can google it). To our surprise, we still have intact eardrums. Mallorca in Bangkok was not necessarily the highlight of the city.
Since there were hardly any people in the shopping center next to our hotel today, we went to a larger one and went shopping there. Now we're in the hostel, where we'll meet the people from the tour. Tomorrow we're heading to Cambodia.
