Tag 362 - Enduro-Tour in Phuket

Hello everyone!

Today was a really, really great day, riding the enduro was a lot of fun!!

Our alarm went off at 7:15 a.m. - far too early, but we wanted to start the day in peace.

We set off on our scooter at 9:00 a.m. and reached our destination on time an hour later.

There were still one or two small formalities to be clarified and the motorcycles were checked again briefly, then we started at 11:00 a.m.

The only thing he knew about us was that it was my first enduro experience, Kevin had already gained some experience and of course we were both familiar with manual gearshifts.

It started quite unceremoniously: everyone got on their motorbike, the engines were started and the guide was on the road and made sure we followed 😁.

However, he did an excellent job! He kept turning around and checking to see if everything was okay. In traffic, he thought for all three of us the whole time and navigated us through the forest in a variety of ways.

Once we got there, it started straight away with a real Thai forest road: full of stones of different sizes, branches, stands, gravel and sometimes really big cracks in the ground. It was a real adventure - especially for me! We stopped at every point that was technically more difficult and the guide explained how we should drive. I also received a lot of helpful tips from Kevin and they both cheered me on like crazy - what great support! I felt very comfortable with both of them and over time the driving style got better and we had to stop less for explanations. Since Kevin had already ridden enduro, it wasn't really anything new for him.

We made one or two photo stops and got a coke in a really nice bar with a fantastic view.

After about three hours, I clearly noticed that I was slowly becoming exhausted because the motorcycle only did what it wanted. After I put it down for the second time in a row, I asked if we could go back.

My request was followed up immediately and about half an hour later we arrived at the shop satisfied and exhausted.

We got the depot back, gave a small tip and headed back.

On the way we took a little butt-already break and reached a cute restaurant near us around 5:00 p.m. We were really hungry and were grateful for the really delicious food!

Back at the hotel we sat on the terrace and recovered from the trip ☺️

Now it's 8 p.m. and we don't yet know how we're going to spend the evening:

A: We leave with a grave and celebrate the new year

B: We surrender to our exhausted muscles and make ourselves comfortable ☺️
