Today we first walked back to Porthallow from our accommodation in St Keverne. From there we went to Nare Point. From up there we had a wonderful view of the river arms in front of us and the next stretches of coast. Combined with the wonderful weather, it's simply a poem.
After a short stop at Parbean Cove, we headed back inland along Gillan Creek, past Gillan and Flushing. The ferry to St Anthony-in-Meneage couldn't run due to the low tide, so we decided to cross the Gillan River on a whim. Something else. In St Anthony we had delicious ice cream and cappuccino.
The Helford River was waiting for us on the other side. Also soooo beautiful... After a little refreshment at the Helford River Sailing Club, we hitchhiked back to St Keverne.
It was really a nice day...
