Since today, the song '3 Tage am Meer' by AnnenMayKantereit has been stuck in my head, as it reflects pretty well how I felt in the past few months. I had a difficult year in 2022 and everything was too much for me for a long time. During these days, there was nothing I longed for more than to be free and jump around by the sea. Of course, I'm not doing the semester abroad in Haifa just because the city is located by the Mediterranean Sea, but it's still a great prospect to be able to live close to the beach and the sound of the sea from October to January - a privilege that I will surely use frequently!

The semester abroad is getting closer and I'm slowly overcoming the last bureaucratic hurdles: Today, I finally received the news that my visa has been issued and will be delivered to me in the next few days. In addition, my Erasmus application is complete, so hopefully there won't be any financial difficulties for me in the very expensive country of Israel.

So now, there's almost nothing standing in the way of 'three months at the sea'! :)
