From the ranch location, it was about a 40-minute drive to a national park. To get there, you have to drive about 500 meters through private property where a fee is charged per person. Not much, we paid 6 dollars but on a daily basis, the landowner certainly earns quite well just because people have to go through his property.
The park itself had various trails, we took the shortest one with just over 3km because of Lea and it was still a challenge. Many roots, stairs, and a few tears. But with motivation and fruit along the way, we managed to do it and even had a walk without rain...There were volcanic activities in the park, as Rincon de la Vieja is a volcano...
