Unfortunately, our last day in Osaka was rainy. We barely made it to the castle - wait with shelter and clouds 😂
The castle is really very beautiful and even impressed Siar.
After a few photos and a quick walk through the castle gardens, we took the metro to Umeda. We actually wanted to visit two buildings there.
However, when we got there it was raining heavily, so we decided to have lunch.
Since we had heard a lot that the Indians in Japan were very tasty, we decided on Indian. And that tasted really good!
My Yuzu Lassi in particular was top notch. I don't think I've ever mentioned this before, but yuzu is the best fruit on earth and I don't know how I'm going to live without yuzu from now on 😂
Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit and tastes like a mix of lemon and tangerine. Sweet and sour, a perfect mix.
After lunch we continued to Shinskai to the Tsutenkaku Tower. The scenery there is exactly how you imagine Japan. Please see for yourself (photos).
Afterwards we spent quite a while in Donki, a huge shop with everything, really everything, you're looking for. We bought a few souvenirs there.
And just like that, the day was almost over. Back to the hotel, change and freshen up Kian, because we still had a date.
Siar's cousin Ariana is also in Japan at the moment and we met her and a friend for dinner. We didn't like the ramen quite as much this time (somehow it tasted a bit too much like the sea) but the evening was still really great.
Speaking of meetings. Today I met an old former schoolmate - in the middle of Osaka, completely by chance. We hadn't seen each other for 15 years and then suddenly we were in Japan - funny.
And so our last real day in Japan came to an end. Tomorrow we still have the morning to say goodbye before we head back home at 5 p.m. - to Thailand, of course.
We are unusually looking forward to the country, the people, the food and especially the weather.
There will be a conclusion about Japan, look forward to it.
