On the way from Boston to New York, we stay at the Finger Lakes in Seneca Falls.
Dinner in Downtown Seneca Falls at 'fake' Italian restaurant: the food is anything but Italian cuisine. We find only American products there.
Our shopping cart is filled by the cashier - that surprises us a lot! We would also like that in Germany.
On the way to the car, we meet a woman who is dressed strangely in an old style: she is a Mennonite.
Rainer talks to her and a nice conversation develops. She shows us the way to a Mennonite store, which we don't want to miss.
There are all sorts of self-produced things - also interesting swings like Hollywood swings.
Marie takes photos - maybe someone can build them in Germany.
We continue along the lake and see many winemakers who invite us to taste.
Spontaneously, we take the next opportunity and visit a winemaker. (Lucas Vineyards in INTERLAKEN, NY)
Here we can taste various wines. We are amazed at the quality and also take a few bottles with us on the drive to New York City.
Marie also discovers the exit to the Seneca Falls. We go for a hike around the waterfalls there.
Since we are still so enthusiastic about the Niagara Falls, the Seneca Fall seems a bit small to us.
But it was still fun!
Now let's continue to New York City.
