Townsville and Mission Beach

The last two days we have been on the road a lot and covered KM 4500- KM 4820.
During our beautiful stop and walk at Mission Beach (amazing water with almost 28 degrees), we were able to observe stingrays from a short distance.
The drive past Cairns towards Port Douglas was one of the most beautiful! Right by the sea and with a great view of the adjacent mangroves, we arrived comfortably!
After a short fishing stop with only one small fish, we went to our accommodation which surprised us a lot!
Suddenly we were in a huge vacation rental!
Well, there's nothing we can do about it!
We will be staying here for three nights before returning to Cairns for our last stop(4 nights) in the middle of the week...
Here we will do various activities like Great Barrier Reef etc...
We are looking forward to it...
