First day in Miami Beach

Finally arrived :). Today I got to see Miami in daylight. And to take in the pure beauty and the beach right outside my door, I treated myself to a hostel in Miami Beach. It's really nice here...everyone is in vacation mode: Relaxed, friendly, spending lots of time at the beach and in party mode. I also enjoyed the beach today, with temperatures around 30 degrees, hopefully leaving behind the remnants of jet lag while relaxing.

It's actually my first experience staying alone in a hostel. Thank goodness meeting new people here is as quick as everyone says. I've already met people from different cultures, very exciting.

But the price shock was intense once again: I had to pay 10 dollars for a bread and apples, unbelievable! I hope it's only this extreme in the tourist area.

Now I'm going to explore Miami Beach on a night walk. If this happens to be my last post for now, it means I got lost for a change and will get back to you after finding my way again (which can take a little while for me ;) )
