The first thing we did today was go to Parliament. Of course, we went through a security check like at the airport and then we were allowed in. The girls had a scavenger hunt with owls. They had to guess the architect of the building: Francis Rattenbury - as a reward they got a tattoo.
Then we went for a walk to the Upper Harbour and Fisherman's Wharf. Here, houseboats were individually designed and moored right on the jetty. It was really pretty to see and everyone had chosen their favourite house. You could also see a lot of water taxis and whale watching. On the way back to the Inner Harbour, we saw a seal in the water, which kept sticking its head out of the water. How cute.
Afterwards we went to the miniature exhibition in the Emperior Hotel. There were various topics about civil and world wars, the cities and landscapes of Canada in earlier years, fairy tales, Lancelot and King Arthur, doll houses, etc. Everything was extremely detailed and beautifully recreated. The girls had a lot of fun exploring.
