What a dream, two weeks in Mallorca👍
Not only the sea and the sun bring you happiness, but also the truly amazing gluten-free food there.
I can recommend everything there😍because when we arrived at the airport in Palma, not only the weather was perfect but also my lunch, we ate gluten-free burgers from McDonald's, an experience I will never forget.
The buns taste incredibly good and there I really made friends with my allergy.
We may not always like each other, but we do there, because if I couldn't tolerate gluten, I would have never enjoyed this burger so much.
After that, the journey continued, we drove for an hour and a half with our rental car to our hotel. You can also get to the hotel by bus, but I advise against it if you get motion sickness on the bus.
Since the roads are not without damage, when we arrived in the village of 'Canyamel', the hotel is only five minutes away. The hotel 'Canyamel Park' not only offers allergen-free food of all kinds, but is also only 2 minutes away from the beach.
The nearby small bay, which is only accessible via a lightly traveled road, is very clear, but you can still rent beach chairs.
In the hotel 'Canyamel Park' there are beautiful but also smaller rooms or larger suites, an outdoor pool (including a children's pool), two whirlpools in the back area, an indoor pool and two rooftop pools that are only allowed to be used by guests of the suites.
In the neighboring towns, there are beautiful markets (especially recommended are Cala Rajada, Cala Bona, Arta and Cala Millor).
Since the village of Canyamel is very small, there is a small shopping street a 4-minute walk away.
Air mattress stores, fruit stores, restaurants, beach bars, pharmacy, several grocery stores, a kiosk, and one or two clothing and jewelry stores can be found there.
Actually, everything you need, but I would still prefer a day trip to Palma, the beautiful squares, shopping opportunities and the atmosphere are breathtaking and should not be missed.
There are also some cool amusement parks or caves nearby, but you should take a closer look at them or discuss them with the hotel, as the reception always has good suggestions.
Again about the hotel, the variety of food is very good, all employees are more than friendly, and no one would object to a gluten-free crepe in the morning.
Only with the chocolate fountain that is available every third evening, you should be careful, as the marshmallows standing around are not gluten-free.
You can eat outside or inside, that's up to you🍨
The sea is usually clear, but when the wind is a bit stronger, it can be cloudy because the sand is stirred up.
I can really recommend this trip to everyone, whether child, adult or senior☺
Now I am back home, looking at the pictures and really want to go back🌼🌯🍰
Regards, your Lotte🌹
