Krabi 18.12.

Today we visited Ao Phra Nang Beach, which was about 15 minutes walk from our hotel. The way there took us through a small jungle and past dark caves.

When we arrived at the beach we looked at steep rock faces, white sand and crystal blue water. Luckily it was a little windier today, so you didn't notice the 30+ degrees as much. The sea also offered welcome cooling.

After spending half the day on this beach, we went back to our section of beach in front of the hotel at lunchtime, where we wanted to wait for the sunset with a cool drink. On the way there we met a large family of monkeys who were eating two (stolen) bags of chips.

After the sunset we looked for a nice restaurant where we could eat Indian food. That was very delicious. Afterwards, we visited the “Treehouse Bar”. A large tree house that was converted into a bar. There we treated ourselves to a cool drink.

Afterwards we went back to the hotel because another highlight was waiting for us the next day.
