Quiet and cozy enjoying...

This morning I had a mission and could only do it in the city. Let me just say: it has something to do with a white and almost a bit translucent dress... Smile

Sought; found. After that, I bought local delicacies at the bakery and went for coffee with Alexia and Eveline. They were happy about my visit and the sweet gift. It was once again very interesting and entertaining with these two lovely women.

On the way to the bus, I spontaneously booked a trip to Balos for Saturday. Somehow I still have to go to the sea and apparently I must not miss out on the most impressive beach in Crete. Because this day trip seems to be really worth the trip. At least my roommates say so. Smile

Then back to the hostel. Interesting: if you buy the ticket directly on the bus, it costs 2 euros. If you buy it at a counter, only 1.10 euros.

Since tomorrow will be a long day, the afternoon was very cozy in the basement of the hostel: a cozy place, a frappe (cold coffee with ice cubes, sugar, milk), headphones on, and enjoying my book. The hours flew by.

My regular tavern had to do without me today. I wanted to try something else and ended up in a restaurant with all sorts of food. Spaghetti are not exactly typical for the country, but as 'Black Pearl' they are: black colored with ink from the squid and with mussels. Yammy.

Now I just need to prepare everything well for tomorrow's trip to Santorini. I want to get up as quietly as possible at 5:30, so I'll pack and get everything ready: clothes, ticket, money, food for the journey to Rethymno and for the ferry. I'm sooooo looking forward to it.
