Snow, Myth, and History

At 20 °C, Kiran doesn't want anything anymore - it gets too hot for him pretty quickly. That's why I thought yesterday: Kiran is heat-averse, we are in the mountains, let's see how far I can go up. In the end, we found ourselves in the Parnassos ski resort, enjoying the view, the variety, and the solitude.

Delfí has the Apollo Sanctuary - the most famous oracle in history. Hmmm... the curiosity doesn't rise; the archaeological site (which is why my travel guide actually 'enticed' me here) I still wanted to see. I've never heard of Apollo, Zeus the father of the gods, the Python dragon, Greek sanctuaries, and Pythia the priestess, and I can't make much sense of a large stone that is being touted as a treasure house by someone or undistinguishable votive gifts. What I like are the theater, the stadium, and the realization that I don't have to be interested in everything.

In the evening, I am annoyed when an unfriendly Frenchman practically parks his 'truck' on top of my little car (I should add that there is still plenty of space left in the campsite). I think it's not acceptable and I am traveling to Athens today. Starting tomorrow, I will explore the capital city!
