Herb Castle in Goldrain

Today we fled into the valley from the low-hanging clouds...and look, even the rain stopped. Our destination was the Herb Castle in Goldrain.

Passing high mountains, which could only be seen in imagination because the mist was still lingering, we arrived at the Herb Castle.
There was a wonderful garden to explore here, with many herbs and beautiful roses.
I took pictures of many ideas for the garden.

Here's an unusual fruit that looks like a small orange, but with a fuzzy peel:



Afterwards, we went shopping comfortably and stocked up on delicious South Tyrolean specialties: ham, salami, cheese, spinach dumplings, etc. So now we can easily stay for 3 weeks :-)
When we arrived home, we played a game of chess (unfortunately Gerhard won again xxxboo) and enjoyed a delicious meal.
