The Last Station

My last station should give me some time to relax. Jawa would have surely offered me a lot in terms of culture, landscapes, and interesting cities. But I didn't want to rush anymore in my last weeks...

Karimunjawa is known to only a few due to its location 80 km north of Jawa. It takes 2 hours by speedboat to get here. However, you have to go to a port city beforehand, which is far from the main routes.

I chose a hostel for my 5-day stay to surround myself with nice people, to play cards together, to enjoy the sunset at the BVB beach (yes, I know, a cruel place in this beautiful idyll), or to go fishing together. Almost every evening there was grilled fish for 2 to 3 euros, as long as we hadn't caught it ourselves ;)

Dreamy beaches with postcard-like beauty made this place the perfect spot to end the last days of my journey!
