This time it's only 30 minutes by bus to Manzanillo. However, as always, the timetables are incorrect, everyone you ask gives a different answer, and in the end, the bus is delayed, so we are on the road for a long time for this short distance!
Manzanillo is a very small town on the coast, not much happens here, and everyone is super relaxed!
The beach is beautiful, but except for a short walk after our arrival, we unfortunately can't enjoy it...
Because from now on it's raining continuously. The whole nights and days, without a break! We are stuck in our room and on our balcony... we can't even visit the national park!
Our room is small, not very nice, and we're feeling a bit claustrophobic. It's a shame because it's a really nice place and we would have had a great time here without the end-of-the-world feeling!
The height of sadness was probably reached when the power went out for many hours and we had to endure it in our room in the dark with only our little flashlight!
In the end, on such a long journey through different countries, it becomes clear how easy we have it in Germany. All buses and trains run on schedule and once you're on board, you're constantly notified of your current location and where to get off. Prices are displayed everywhere in supermarkets, and we can buy whatever we want anytime. We don't have to calculate various percentages for taxes and service charges on restaurant prices, washing machines work automatically, and not every rainstorm causes a city-wide power outage. We are quite spoiled and now we appreciate all of this even more!
