Tag 116 - San Pietro Island by boat

Hello everyone

Today the alarm clock rang as the starting signal for a great day at sea. We had reserved a boat for today, all day long.

After breakfast, we set off for "Calasetta", where we could pick up the boat. First, we had something to drink in a sweet café with a sea view. Then we bought some supplies for the day, packed everything in a cooler, and after a few instructions about the boat, we were ready to go.

We sailed to the nearby island and found a nice spot. We saw amazing rock formations, very tempting caves, and lonely beaches. However, we didn't find the promised white beach. :)

We stopped again in front of several small caves, swam and snorkelled in the crystal clear water, and sunbathed. While snorkelling, we discovered some fish, countless sea urchins, and watched a few jellyfish. Even though jellyfish are not humans' best friends, they look very fascinating and it's fun to watch them.

At the end of the day, we had circumnavigated the entire island and achieved our goal of tanning. All three of us had a nice tan!

When we arrived back at the house, we sat on our terrace for a while before falling asleep exhausted from the sun and the salty air.
