Speechlessness

Rakabudiswa: 11.05.2024

So, what can the unworthy traveler say about today, because he is simply speechless.

Be it because of the extremely friendly nature of the Irish people or because of the beautiful, picturesque landscape.

After a nice breakfast at the cemetery, we headed towards Cork...

WTF? Breakfast at the cemetery? What is this idiot traveler doing?

Well, my dearest and best reading darlings, take a look at the first five eye balms and you will understand.

Actually, the dishonorable Gaijin only wanted to take a few pictures because he had spotted this small chapel behind a wall from the street and when he walked in, this fabulous, breath-taking scenery opened up!

Since there was also an old, slightly mossy stone bench standing around and the eternally hungry, unnecessary presence had nothing behind the hatch anyway, he simply gave in to a feeding frenzy!

...and at the next stop, Tintern Abbey, an extremely nice Irish lady caused a bit of a culture shock.

Because, as is usually the case, the grumpy scribbler has no cash in his pocket on his travels (although there is some in the Berta) and wanted to visit this old, dilapidated abbey, tried to pay there with a card, but this option simply did not exist.

The dishonorable Gaijin was just about to get the required coal from the noble horse when the woman at the cash register said: "Well, you've come to see the Abbey and you will see the Abbey."

Give me a ticket and wish me a nice day...

Something like that leaves even the smelly fetus speechless...

So let’s summarize:

A generous, extremely nice lady, scenery that is beautiful enough to scream about, sunburn on her misshapen paws and the Irish who see speed limits as recommendations rather than guidelines.

All this on the first day.

If things were to continue like this, the grumpy scribbler would lose his uncontrollable impatience and a rainbow would soon appear to be coming out of his ass.

So what happens next?

Well, the unnecessary person present decided yesterday to drive the entire Wild Atlantic Way, which is about 2600 km long, and he really hopes that the pictures taken today are just a foretaste of what is to come!

...and of course he also hopes for continued good weather.
