It is finally here. The last full day of our world trip begins. We have already traveled so far and experienced so much that today we simply enjoy a day at the beach. That means: winter, sun, beach, and sea, that's how it is in Florida;-)
When we wake up, the sun is already shining. This is a good sign for our planned beach day. Although we are in Florida, that doesn't mean it's always nice or even dry. Therefore, we are happy.
While Yves has a longer phone call for a substitute, Marco enjoys the sun by the pool of the house. After brunch, we head to Jensen Beach, Bob Graham Beach, and Waveland Beach. We like Jensen Beach the most.
We read, sunbathe, and swim at the beach. We also have a short beach volleyball game because there is a beach volleyball field again. We return at 4:00 pm with a short shopping stop.
After dinner, where we use up our last supplies, it's time to PACK. For the seventh and last time, we pack our suitcases. The challenge is to stay under 23kg. We have always just managed to do this on the previous tour. Now we also have a few purchases to add. Luckily, shampoo, sunscreen, lens solution, etc. have lost weight. Yves also leaves his old shoes in Florida. And of course, we no longer have to transport any food/spices. So we both manage to stay under 23kg. Since our suitcases have suffered a bit from the many flights, we still have to do some sewing:-)
After packing, we are tired and have a beer and then go to sleep in Florida for the last time.
PS. By the way, we were able to solve our constellation puzzle ourselves. Our three companions are part of the constellation Orion and form the so-called Orion's belt.
