On the second day, we headed to Pioneer Square. A very beautiful neighborhood with a lot of history and old buildings.
A beautiful contrast to the skyscrapers around our hotel. Breakfast was at the Grand Central Bakery, which seems to be located in a converted historic subway station.
Then we made a short detour to China Town, the bilingual street signs leave no doubt where you are.
In the afternoon, we picked up our camper. The folks at Apollo made us wait for a whopping 4 hours, thanks for that ;). As a result, we did not reach our destination and made a stop in Gig Harbor. The beautifully located campground in the forest compensates us a little for the wait.
The plan for Day 3:
Head up to Port Angeles and into Olympic National Park.
