We are stranded at the campsite 'Vejers Familie Camping' in Vejers Strand. It is a rather small campsite in this area. It's very busy and it feels like being on vacation in Germany again, hearing and speaking German everywhere. But we find a cozy spot on the edge of a forest, where small holiday homes are scattered around. The beach here can be accessed and parked on with a car/caravan/etc. It's a strange sight when you arrive at the beach and a large section is full of parked vehicles. As a result, the beach is very crowded. It starts to empty out in the evening, so Rocky also gets his share of fun. Unfortunately, we can't experience a proper sunset due to the clouds. But on the way back in the evening, we see a deer grazing between two houses. But that's not all. One evening, we sit outside for a longer time in pleasant warm temperatures. Nicole hears sounds coming from the direction of the forest for a while, doesn't think much of it at first, as there is still light on in the holiday homes. Eventually, we see something moving not far from our car and getting closer. The sounds get louder. Brave as we are, we grab a light and want to know what has been lurking near us this whole time. And behold, we get a brief scare at the sight - a large female deer is grazing right next to our car behind the fence. She looks at us briefly and is undisturbed. A little later, a fox stops by and is only slightly bothered that we are still outside, then continues on its way. We spend peaceful days here and will be moving on tomorrow. Let's see where to next...
