The last two days were relatively unspectacular. The day before yesterday we hiked through Brisbane. We finished relatively quickly there, as sightseeing wasn't that great. But we're just spoiled by Sydney. The highlight: riding scooters. You could rent scooters in the city and cruise around. It was really cool!
Yesterday we only took a short trip to Noosa, because there was still a highlight today. It was laundry day. While we were waiting for the laundry, we went on a little kayaking tour on the Noosa River. Unfortunately, we couldn't go swimming there. By now, you can also tell that we're getting further north and finding a lot more Germans on the campsites. Now they even understand when you want to gossip^^
Today the day started more or less (un)willingly before 6am, because our dear neighbor really had to get started. But getting up was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise. After that, my personal highlight: horseback riding on the beach. Our 2-hour tour along the sea started at 9am. We went through the shallow water in full gallop. Later, we waded through the waves and put our feet in the water. An amazing feeling. Completely different from riding in the arena or through the woods. As soon as I got off the horse, I had terrible muscle soreness. After all, I hadn't ridden a horse in ages^^ We made our way to the next stop: Hervey Bay, limping a bit. From here, we'll continue to Fraser Island tomorrow. We're currently occupied with finding the key for the toilet. Will it show up again?! The alarm clock will ring at 5:30am tomorrow morning. Why not 😁 So, good night!
