Tag 52 to 55: Relaxing and Partying on Koh Rong

As the islands off Sihanoukville were recommended to us by other travelers and also by the reception, we decided to spend a few days on Koh Rong. This is the island with the most party and apparently the best nightlife. We took the speed boat to the island within an hour. We had booked a bungalow right by the beach. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes. We knew that the bungalow was right by the beach, but we didn't expect it to be so relaxed. So we hung up our hammocks and chilled for a bit...

We spent our days on the island enjoying the nightlife (the beer is ridiculously cheap here) and relaxing by the sea or in our hammocks during the day. On the last evening, we joined a pub tour and coincidentally met our Dutch friends from Pak Chong (the national park with the trekking in the rain) again. This was of course celebrated extensively... Maybe we'll see each other again in Vietnam.

But now we are looking forward to exploring some cities and the landscape in Cambodia after so much relaxation by the sea.
