Weekend trip to Rotorua

Rakabudiswa: 07.07.2018

A few months ago, I was in Rotorua with Patrick, but I still haven't seen everything I wanted to see, and now I still haven't, but I want to start from the beginning.

Recently, while working, the idea developed that I would like to go to Rotorua again.

Last night, I excitedly talked about it and we decided that we would definitely go on this trip.

After waking up very late because we took advantage of Friday night for a long time, Lisa said, 'I'll get ready quickly and then I'll be ready.' When I asked her what for, she said, 'Well, we're going to Rotorua today,' and I was thrilled that we were going to implement my idea so quickly.

So we (David, Lisa, Thai, Katrin, and I) packed our things and set off.

The plan was actually to go to Wai O Tapu Wonderland with geothermal activities and then ride the roller coaster down the mountain.

As always, this plan did not become reality.

When we arrived at the Wonderland, we found out that we had to enter the park 2 hours before closing and unfortunately we were too late.

Instead, we visited the Mud Pool and the smell of sulfur, which is almost everywhere in Rotorua due to the geothermal activities, once again raised the question of how people can live in this city.

Afterwards, we went to Fat Dog, a burger place that I had already visited and that I really like.

Then darkness fell and we drove back to the Mount.
