Today we had to reluctantly return our Nissan Versa. We are very grateful to him for taking us everywhere relatively easily.
From now on, we continued on foot. However, we completely underestimated the distances in Las Vegas, so we walked a whopping 10 kilometers from the airport to our accommodation. In between, we made a photo stop at the Las Vegas Sign, which was completely crowded with influencers and vacationers trying to get the best picture with the sign. Clearly exhausted, we checked into our room, freshened up, and rested a bit so that we were prepared for the evening.
The first stop was Bellagio, again on foot, to see the famous water show. But after an hour of waiting, a female voice over the speakers informed us that there were technical difficulties and the show was currently not taking place. Disappointed, we walked down the strip and watched the hustle and bustle in Las Vegas. Shortly afterwards, the show started again and we were able to watch two really impressive shows (at Anna's insistence, Manfred would never have had the patience).
Then the real fun began, we tried our luck at the Caesars Palace casino. After hours of ups and downs, we were able to go home with a small win (Anna had to compensate for Manfred's losses).
The second day in Las Vegas was characterized by long walks and rides in heavily air-conditioned buses on the world-famous Strip. We visited Fremont Street, the Golden Nugget, and many other famous sights of the city. Driven by boredom (we had to wait until midnight because our flight wasn't until the next morning and we didn't want to afford a hotel room), we tried our luck again at a roulette machine. A few hours later and $60 lighter, we slowly made our way to the airport and onward to Mexico.
