The flights were very pleasant, but they lasted overnight. I landed in "Vasco da Gama" at 3.30 am. It should be bedtime now. However, I abandoned my plan to find a hostel and rest for a few hours, and I went straight to Margao.
Here I was at the bus station, and it was only 4.15 am. So what to do? Okay, there was a bench, so I lay down to sleep. The mosquitoes had decided to feast on me, so no sleep for me. I just waited as best as I could (the tiredness was becoming more intense), and at exactly 6 am, the bus finally left for Canacona, one hour journey. Here, I took a rickshaw again (10 minutes), and finally reached my destination, "Agonda Beach", in the far south of Goa.
Here, I planned my activities for the next 6 days. The best way to pass the time here is to chill, sleep, read, splash around (in the sea), listen to music, take long walks (on the beach or to other beaches like Butterfly Beach), eat, drink beer, and occasionally enjoy a massage.
Yes, that's exactly how my days in Agonda looked. Now I was ready for one last stop in Delhi. And so, I set off again with the rickshaw and the bus, back to the airport. The whole thing cost me only 3.98 Euros. Most people would take a taxi directly for 25 Euros, but why should I waste money here? I am still on a journey and that means keeping costs low.
