Jasper National Park

Rakabudiswa: 30.08.2019

The dead spots have got us and unfortunately I find it difficult to send updates regularly.

After a few wonderful days camping in Jasper, we have now arrived at a hostel with Wifi in Banff. I am bitten from head to toe by insects but will now try to use AntiBrumm spray :D

The national park was really worth seeing, we were able to participate in the wilderness by seeing bald eagles, black bears, sheep, rams, a white ram, elk, deer, and much more just walking across the road. It is definitely an incredible feeling. The lakes reflect the beautiful blue sky and mountains and are turquoise blue to milky *milky way* It almost looks as if they have been dipped in color. The most beautiful part was the entrance along the small lakes through the forest. The lakes Kinney Lake, Pyramid Lake, and Medicine Lake were wonderful. Beaver Lake is a bit creepy if you don't want to meet a bear :O

The planned evening bonfire turned out differently than planned :D but the sight of thousands of stars in the almost black sky made up for everything (well, almost, except for the nighttime temperatures below zero) and of course the visit to the hot springs!!! The only things you hear in the forest at night are the wind and the squirrels complaining. I even saw a white squirrel for the first time in my life.
