Here in Darwin it's just so boring. It rains and storms at least once a day for about 2 hours. Before and after that it's super hot (today 36 degrees) and almost 100% humidity. Luckily, there are air conditioners everywhere here, even in the public elevator it's comfortable thanks to the a/c. It's time for the rainy season to be over. Then more tourists will come here and it won't be so sleepy anymore.
We went for a walk in the park again this afternoon and at the waterfront (a fenced-off part of the ocean, crocodiles and poisonous jellyfish swim in the ocean), but the water is too warm to cool off.
By now, we also cooked something, pasta (1.50€) with sauce. Today we have fried potatoes with vegetables and ground meat. We just check the supermarket every day to see what's on offer. The range of gluten-free food is just so big and the prices are either cheaper or the same as in Germany.
Otherwise, we go to the hostel pool (it's chilled) and tomorrow afternoon we have an apartment viewing. We want to move out of the hostel as soon as possible. Although you slowly get used to sharing showers and toilets with 50 other people.
