Tag 11/12: Gili Air

Gili Air is a relatively small island and belongs to Lombok in Indonesia. We feel like we have arrived in paradise here. 🏝 We have walked around the island in two hours. There are restaurants, bars, and diving schools everywhere on the beach. In the interior of the island, there are bungalows for tourists everywhere. The food and drinks here are a bit more expensive than in Bali, but still cheap. There is not even a supermarket here, you can buy the most important things in the restaurant or from the landlord. Our bungalow is sufficient, but we are glad to continue our journey tomorrow. Because tomorrow morning we are going to the neighboring island of Gili Meno. There are only bicycles, horses, and occasionally electric scooters as means of transportation, so it is nice and quiet here. Unless you are diving, it is pretty boring. We spend most of our time at the beach, swimming, eating, drinking, and talking to acquaintances. For that, we got our first sunburn. Enjoy browsing through the pictures.
