Arrival in Stockholm

The couple from the last parking lot had recommended a good spot in the middle of Stockholm for only 7.50€ per day. So we left right after waking up and reached the capital city around 10.30 am. We also found the small inconspicuous parking lot right by the water and there were some spaces available.

Afterwards, we explored the first part of Stockholm on foot, as the city center was only ten minutes away. The Stockholm Palace attracted huge crowds, even though the royal family doesn't even live there. We watched the changing of the guards and found a small restaurant for our dining pleasure. Most shops were also open on Sundays, so we took a small city walk afterwards. By the way, an ice cream cone here costs a whopping 4€!

We plan to stay in Stockholm for two days and then continue driving north. Tomorrow, we will continue exploring the city.
