Day 16: Avenida Paulista

After a very delicious Brazilian breakfast at a bakery around the corner with Gigi and Pedro, the four of us went to Avenida Paulista, a nearly 3 kilometer long street in the southwest of the city center. The street is known for being closed to cars on Sundays and mainly used by cyclists, skaters, and joggers. Here you can find all kinds of people and attractions. In addition to the markets and food stalls, you will come across different live bands, musicians, or magicians every hundred meters. So we took advantage of the sunny Sunday to watch this unique spectacle at 33°C and stroll along the architecturally unique street. Afterwards, everyone took a nap before we made ourselves comfortable with our host family in front of the television. A successful Sunday.
