Journey into the wilderness

Rakabudiswa: 03.06.2023

Yesterday I went for drinks with my host, Bierchen :) They have really delicious beer here. I especially like the blonde ale. Of course, they also have plenty of flavored beer, with vanilla or blueberry ๐Ÿ˜› yuck ๐Ÿ˜„

We talked a lot about astrology and relationships ;) I really like her and invited her to Germany. :) She brought me a sourdough bread from her bakery yesterday!! Meeeega ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜ I am really looking forward to it.

Today we're heading towards the national park - finally. I want to get out of the city now.

Today, I slept for 6.5 hours straight for the first time in a long time ๐Ÿคฉ and I had a lot of dreams. I will tell the relevant people about them.

Oh yeah, by the way, the thing with the bus is apparently 'normal' here, assuming you are friendly towards the world. You don't even have to pay for transportation within downtown. Imagine that in Nuremberg ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ or that the driver just says you can come along even if you don't have a ticket, before you walk too far alone or if it's too cold! That's really crazy. I immediately told her that it doesn't happen in Germany, but rather you have to pay a fine or have bad luck...

There are a lot of homeless people here. Yesterday, I watched the police officers interact with them. I was surprised to see how humane and fair they were. It might not always be like that. Anyway, it's crazy how many people live here without a home.

So that's it for now about Calgary and my insights.

I miss my bike ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ I have been walking a lot in the past few days. It's okay but not the same ๐Ÿ˜‰
