25.11.2016 - Gibraltar in the rain

A complete rainy day :-( but still +18 degrees.

From Mija, we made a detour to the fancy city of Marbella. Very tidy city, lots of people and a wide range of different shops, cafes, restaurants, and hotels, but not our thing. We then drove 95 km further to Gibraltar. We are right next to the Rock of Gibraltar, but we could only see it upon arrival, then it was shrouded in fog. It rained so much that despite wearing rubber boots, a rain jacket, and an umbrella, we soon returned to the camper van after a short attempt to explore the area, and made ourselves comfortable with delicious food and later a cup of tea. We are in a very good spot in the marina, with everything we need, including a little house with toilets and washing machines. But I didn't feel like doing laundry (it's about time). Hopefully the rain will stop tomorrow, so we can see Gibraltar before heading to our next destination, Cadiz.
