Goodbye Bunderberg - continue the adventure

As mentioned before, we had a problem with Fat Mike on Saturday, so we were stuck in the city of Bunderberg from Saturday to Monday... the repair on Saturday would have been too expensive... so Kix helped and we stayed one night in the camper and the second night we took a hostel, it gets too hot at night and a shower was good for both of us!!!

Nevertheless, on Monday after 6 hours of waiting at the mechanic - which almost drove us crazy - we finally continued to Nossa.

Let's Celebrate

Nossa is a beautiful coastal city with numerous river mouths, which makes this place very special and it was a good place to celebrate Simone's birthday. Of course, we had imagined it a little differently - the plan was to celebrate the birthday on Fraiser Island, but unfortunately that didn't work out, but that's okay - a good reason to come back again 😁

According to the occasion and for those who know me and Simone, it was clear that we would choose a good restaurant to indulge ourselves! A 'Seafood Platter for 2' for Mone and a good steak for me 😋 we almost managed to finish everything

Nossa

As I said, Nossa is a coastal city, especially popular for surfers, whom we could observe on the beach. On Tuesday we spent a relaxed day in the city and on the beach, doing some shopping, eating ice cream and drinking cocktails.

Last Night in the Camper

19 days with Fat Mike are over, because on Wednesday we headed to Brisbane, our final destination with the camper! We started early in the morning, as we still had a 3-hour drive ahead of us, but it's no longer a long distance... We drove along the east coast for a last stretch and enjoyed breakfast by the sea.

Everything packed, everything emptied and fully refueled, we reluctantly returned Fat Mike, who had accompanied us for a good 2200 kilometers without any accidents!

From the Beach to the City

Once we arrived in Brisbane, we checked into the hostel, took a power nap and then zoomed through the city with 2 city scooters to get a first overview and, of course, to see the beautiful sunset!
