05.08.2019 After a week's holiday on Fehmarn, we set off for Sweden this morning. We took the ferry from Puttgarden to Rødby 🇩🇰. Since this was our first ferry crossing with the motorhome, we were quite excited. We were lucky to be able to take an earlier ferry. The crossing only took 45 minutes and everything went smoothly.
From Rødby, we drove to Maribo to visit Knuthenborg Safari Park 🐅. The entrance fees are not exactly low - as an introduction to Sweden 😏. But it was worth it. In the afternoon, we continued through Zealand to the Øresund Bridge. The crossing was less spectacular than we expected.
Since we stayed in the safari park longer than planned, we didn't arrive in Malmö 🇸🇪 until around 5:00 p.m. Unfortunately, our preferred pitch right by the water (Andelshamnen Lagunen) was already fully booked. Fortunately, a few kilometers further on, we found a nice pitch at a marina (Limhamns Småbåtshamn). Very nice and quiet with a view of the Øresund Bridge.
