Maldives

Objavljeno: 19.05.2019

My dear ones,

Sooo .. now I finally manage to tell you about my experiences on Ukulhas, Maldives.

After a week of getting used to the ashram, which was also very necessary, I am now telling you about the great and far too short time on the island somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Quite spontaneously came over me the idea to make a small trip for a week in the Maldives. After some research, I learned that the Maldives can be reached in less than an hour by plane from Trivandrum, South India, two hours away from me.

I thought, When else do I ever get the opportunity to fly so cheaply to Paradise? So the next night I booked cheap flights and a very well reviewed accommodation and the anticipation got bigger and bigger. 😁😁🙃

It was hard to believe - after less than an hour of flying time I landed on the small airport island near the capital Malè. From the air it is a breathtaking view of the surrounding atolls 🙃

... Arrived at the airport I got my visa stamp and the adventure could finally begin.

After some difficulties with the local ATMs (and 1000 nerves less😣😣) + 5 hours wait at the airport, my taxi, Nevi 3, took me to Ukulhas in 2 hours by speedboat. The trip was already the first exciting and unique experience .. Did you know that the Maldives consist of nearly 1500 individual islands? No? Neither do I. :)

For two hours, other tourists and I raced across the Indian Ocean, so we were far from seeing any islands or resorts. Then finally-

There she is!!! Ukulhas. A beautiful, small indigenous island in the middle of the ocean, somewhere in the great area of the Maldives.

Nawaaz, the manager of my accommodation, welcomed me warmly and led me directly to the accomodation.

I was just excited. A large double bed for me all alone. Everything was spotless and so beautifully decorated and decorated :)

Of course it went straight to the beach for me. I could not believe my luck - it was just like the pictures in the travel agency. Untouched nature, white fine coral sand and turquoise water. A pure natural paradise.

I enjoyed every moment every day, all to myself. At the time it was Ramadan and there were only a few tourists on the island.

As you can imagine, I spent about 80% of the day in the water :) 🏊♀️ I used the free snorkeling equipment daily to explore the nearby 'house reef'.

I saw so many beautiful colorful fish in all colors. Such an incredible natural wonder. 🐠🐟🐡

I even found a baby shark and a ray :)

And 100,000 little fish, which drifted in a huge swarm on the shore :)

The whole beach was full of little shell crabs, shells of all colors and sizes, and dozens of corals in all sorts of variations.

It was very impressive for me to get to know such an untouched and clean island, which is very well looked after by its locals. 🌴🏝🏖

During the day you hear no sound, just the sound of the waves. 🌊The island smells of wild jasmine in the morning. 🌼 Especially in the early morning and just before sunset, the mood was very charming for me. 😊😊🌅

I was spoiled by the two boys of my accommodation, Koimala Beach, great with local food, including grilled fish and tuna curry 🥣 (according to their statement gaaar not spicy: p 🔥🔥🔥). There were fresh fruit juices and freshly picked coconut for Dehydrierprohylaxe every day.

The circuit had a lot to do - it was already in the early morning temperatures around 30 degrees ..

In the evening I lay in the Joalies, domestic chairs made of metal bars and nets. A great invention. 🙃

I am deeply impressed and grateful for every experience, the nightly stars 🌟with Nawaaz and the joint motorcycle tours🏍 around the island, the many snorkeling trips, the weightless float in the water and so much more.

I will never forget the impressions and hopefully will one day return to this great place. It's definitely worth the trip :)

Ukulhas 🧡

I hope I could give you a little Maldivian impression and let you feel my euphoria.

T Your Tine 🧡🧡🧡
