Small change of plans

Hello everyone! After a long time, today finally a new blog entry. The past few weeks have been very eventful but quite different from what was originally planned. As many of you may already know, I was in Germany for about three weeks. Originally, I wanted to continue towards New Zealand after my time in South America. However, the longing for home changed my plans. So after my trip to Bolivia, I spent a few days in Chile and flew from there to Sao Paulo, Brazil to visit a friend. I had already been to Sao Paulo a few years ago and there is not much noteworthy to say about the city😅. There are definitely more beautiful places in Brazil. Nevertheless, I had a nice time☺. Instead of flying to New Zealand, I flew to Germany from there and spent a nice three weeks at home. As a new destination, I then chose Thailand at home. New Zealand would have been a bit too far from Germany😂. And that's exactly where I am right now. I'm currently writing this text on the beautiful island of Ko Phi Phi. This afternoon, I'll continue by ferry to Ao Nang. I started my journey about 2.5 weeks ago in Bangkok. I really liked the first impressions of Thailand and a visit to the Train Market and a Floating Market was very impressive. From Bangkok, I took a night train to Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand to visit a few temples there. Not easy at 38 degrees😅. But I also liked Chiang Mai. After that, I went to the island of Phuket to finally get to the beach😀. I don't think there's much more to report at the moment.... except that the food tastes very good and it's nice to be in the Thai sun 😎😅.
