Christmas all year round!

Now we are here again! In the late afternoon our plane lands in Rovaniemi - the Santa Claus city. A lot has changed since our stay in January: it's light until almost 6 p.m., the snow has mostly disappeared from the streets, and it's only -5°!

We live in a nice small apartment in the middle of the city

and since the catering on the planes is no longer very lavish these days...

we hit the nearest kebab stand. There are real noble kababs made from reindeer meat. Here in the tourist town, the food really has its price: €47 for 2 glasses of beer, a kebab plate and a kebab dürüm…

Tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. the bus leaves for Muonio. Then it gets exciting! Did our car survive the repair and being parked in the arctic temperatures well?
