Tag 105: once to the waterfall and back

Since we didn't quite make it to Cao Bang yesterday, we changed our daily plan. We first went to a waterfall on the border with China and then back to Cao Bang to find a good hotel where we can watch football in peace. Planned, done! Shortly before we reached the waterfall, it started pouring rain heavily and we had to take a short break. When we arrived at the waterfall, we got wet mainly from the spray of the cascading water masses. The waterfall is the fourth largest waterfall located on a national border. After we had seen the three-stage waterfall, we drove about 100km back towards Cao Bang. The roads were really nice, wide, and easy to drive. We made much faster progress than in the mountains.

In the evening, with tears in our eyes, we watched the first Germany game in our hotel room.
