Finally, it's starting!

The last few weeks have been full of anticipation and, on the other hand, super exhausting. Good handover at work and at the same time a thousand things in my head that still needed to be done.

But when the departure came, everything was forgotten. Finally, the time has come!

A first stop at Heidi & Rudi, being spoiled deliciously once again, and the next day escorted to Travemünde ferry port. The ship set sail with a two-hour delay, facing rough winds and high seas.

Despite the rough seas, it was quite comfortable on the sun deck. At some point, we ran out of extra clothes to put on. The picnic blanket also provided some warmth, but it simply wasn't enough, so we went down below and took motion sickness pills. We glided on cloud nine for the next three hours ;-)
